Madonna

Madonna, 12 year old Tenessee mare got Anhidrosis a few weeks ago. As the vets don’t have any treatment or cure Giora Avni advised acupuncture.
Madonna got 3 treatments and is now sweating totally normal again! What a success and what pleasure to help another horse.

Shanty

13 year old quarter horse. A few years ago he got thinner and thinner and weaker and weaker. A blood test showed too high creatinin. This means that his kidneys are not working properly or more precisely that at least 1,5 kidneys are damaged.

Since then he gets acupuncture treatments once a month and various liver and kidney strengthening and cleaning herbs daily. After a few months he got back to himself and now is happy and fully ridable.

Luli

One and a half year old single foot horse got – out of the blue – probably because of a virus with fever, very heavy laminitis on all 4 legs. The young horse lay down and didn’t manage to get up anymore.

Luckily I got there on the same day and started daily acupuncture immediately. Together with daily icing of the legs and green clay poultice with essential oils against pain, inflammation and promoting circulation.
In addition she got daily herbs to eat against the inflammation and to promote circulation even more.

After another 4 weeks the vet came to ultrasound again and thought his machine was broken, as the tendon was in such an amazingly good condition.

Three year old Missouri mare with the worst summer itch I have ever seen. Without treatment all her body would be just scratched until she is covered with wounds all over.

A series of acupuncture treatments in spring time and then monthly refreshments.

We got a horse as a „present”. Which means the owner didn’t want her anymore because she was limping on all 4 legs, hardly able to move. The first few weeks we just let her rest and recover – what she really enjoyed. Then I started treating her with very intense acupuncture and with the infrared light “pain free pad” (a pad with 80 red lights and 80 infrared light to treat pain and inflammation).

I diagnosed probably years of riding with an unfit, much too tight saddle that caused severe pain in the shoulders and lots of wrong muscle buildup on back and neck and above the shoulders. I worked on releasing muscles and strengthening the back and the shoulders as well as the whole tired out organism.
